New representation deal with FairSquare Graphics

PLeaSe Comics Rights & Events Agency is proud to announce an exclusive representation agreement from the renowned US independent publisher FairSquare Graphics LLC.

Through this partnership, PLeaSe Comics Rights & Events will represent a selection of FairSquare Graphics most acclaimed and successful titles or adaptation internationally across all non-English markets. The first wave of graphic novels and light novel available for licensing includes:

• Noir Is the New Black imprint, featuring the original hit anthology and Watson & Holmes, volumes 1 & 2

• Hyphen: Jewish Stories in Our Own words: a collection of diverse real-life Jewish stories.

• Intertwined: The Spirits of WuXing Saga: chronicling the journey of immigrant heroes in America.

• Shakespeare's Vampires: a modern-day romantasy sequel featuring Romeo & Juliet… as Vampires.

• Lady-Bird: a Young Adult story about resilience, loosely based on the first ever French superhero, l'Oiselle.

Founded in 2019 by creators, FairSquare Graphics is the only family, immigrant and minority-owned publisher of graphic novels and light novels in the United States. FairSquare Graphics’ mission statement is to promote and give more exposure to immigrants, minorities, LGBTQ+ and, more generally, all under-represented talents of the world; an objective emphasized in the company’s mantra: “Stories from the rest of us.” FairSquare Graphics has published 46 titles since its inception and gathered rave reviews and awards as well as an Eisner nomination.

Through this collaboration, PLeaSe Comics Rights & Events will leverage its extensive industry network and expertise to promote and license these titles around the world, seeking new audiences and strategic partners for license.
