PLeaSe CRE signs french artist Pierre CHALAMETTE

PLeaSe Comics Rights & Events Agency is proud to announce the worldwide exclusive representation of Pierre Chalamette, also known under his artistic name Axendre. He is the first French author to join the agency’s catalog, marking a significant milestone in the very young history of PLeaSe.

Based in Lille, Axendre has spent more than a decade developing comic book projects alongside his career as an industrial and digital designer. His creative universe draws inspiration from video games such as NieR, Ico or Journey, as well as masterpieces of animation including Miyazaki’s films, Evangelion, and Attack on Titan.

In 2016, he embarked on his independent journey with Eden la seconde aube, a colorful and dreamlike trilogy following the adventures of the last two survivors of Eden. This ambitious saga combines action, fantasy, and mystery, and has been explored across different narrative formats, from webtoon to interactive versions, highlighting Axendre’s determination to push the boundaries of comic storytelling.

In a lighter and more humorous register, he created Antik Panic in 2020, a manga-inspired series in which Hermes and Aphrodite embark on a wild quest through Greek mythology. He has also expanded into other creative fields with Doudou a disparu, an illustrated children’s book, and a technical guide on comic and manga creation aimed at beginners.

As a versatile artist, Axendre demonstrates a rare ability to move fluidly between print and digital formats, opening new creative possibilities for his works. With his strong artistic identity and innovative approach, PLeaSe Comics Rights & Events is convinced of his international potential and will actively work to promote his projects across global markets.
