PLeaSe Comics Rights & Events Agency is proud to announce the worldwide exclusive representation of Linus Liu, one of the most promising voices of Hong Kong’s new generation of comic artists.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Linus Liu has always been driven by his passion for drawing and storytelling. His breakthrough came in 2022, when his debut graphic novel Cat Mask Boy won the Gold Award at the first Hong Kong Comic Support Program.
Since then, he has expanded his artistic vision into multiple formats: clothing design, advertising campaigns, exhibitions, and an animated short film adaptation of Cat Mask Boy. His broader body of work reflects both his deep love for his hometown and his restless imagination. His publications include Cat Mask Boy, the illustration collection SHE REMEMBERS, the animated short Cat Mask Boy’s Summer Holiday, the comic Timeless Encounter (co-created with Hong Kong Machines), and Trio, which earned him the Special Mention Award of the Hong Kong Comics Support Program in 2025, confirming his position as one of the most promising talents of his generation.
Inspired by daily life and a nostalgic attachment to old Hong Kong, Liu’s art bridges memory and imagination, making him a vibrant representative of the city’s new creative wave.
Through this collaboration, PLeaSe Comics Rights & Events will represent Linus Liu’s works internationally, with the ambition to open new opportunities in publishing, licensing, and cross-media projects worldwide.
