PLeaSe CRE signs multi-award-winning Hong Kong artist Pen So

PLeaSe Comics Rights & Events Agency is proud to announce the representation of Pen So, one of Hong Kong’s most acclaimed contemporary comic artists, with the aim of promoting his works across global markets around the world.

Pen So began his career in 2013 after attending the Comics Master Class presented by the Hong Kong Arts Centre (Comix Home Base). Since then, he has established himself as a remarkable voice in the comics world, combining evocative illustration with deep, narrative-driven storytelling.

His breakthrough came with the publication of See You in Memories (2022), which won the Silver Award at the 16th Japan International MANGA Award and the Bologna Ragazzi Award 2024 in the New Horizons Category. The book was also selected for the Singapore Book Illustrators Gallery (BIG) 2024.

In 2024, his comic Dali Libreria received multiple accolades, including the Gold Award and Best Comics Story Award at the 3rd Hong Kong Comics Support Programme, as well as the Silver Award for Best Comics Book at the 21st China Animation & Comic Competition Golden Dragon Awards. Beyond comics, his illustration Guiding Light was honored with a Merit Award in the 3x3 International Illustration Show No.21.

His works have already been exhibited internationally in Belgium, Germany, Japan, France, and Italy, testifying to his growing recognition on the global stage.

Through this collaboration, PLeaSe Comics Rights & Events will promote and manage Pen So’s works across global markets around the world, covering publishing, licensing, adaptation, merchandising, and exhibitions, while complementing his existing partnerships in parts of Asia.
